The compact cyber® iTAS® system 2 drive system consists of a cyber® simco® drive 2 servo drive series with an integrated SIL3 and PLe certified Safe Torque Off safety function and the space-saving, heavy-load cyber® TAS actuator 2 wheel actuator. The robust design of the differential drive system with integrated brake and wheel impresses with its industry-standard simplicity, which significantly minimizes the development, design, construction, operation, and service of AGVs and AMRs.
Special feature: Next level safety architecture
A key feature that sets this type of drive system apart on the market is the lean and easy-to-integrate next level safety architecture of the cyber® iTAS® system 2. It stands out because it requires fewer cables and connectors, fewer interfaces, fewer components and modules as well as reduced assembly and documentation effort. In addition, there is the option of performing further safety extension according to SIL2/PLd and SIL3/PLe on an optional and customized basis. The interface design of the safe bus communication is also very practical, covering most of the common safety master controllers with PROFIsafe and CIP Safety.
LogiMAT – the ideal platform for intralogistics drive solutions from the WITTENSTEIN group
The annual LogiMAT trade fair will once again be the largest International Trade Show for Intralogistics Solutions and Process Management in Europe in 2026. At the same time, it is the recognized platform for logistics-related innovations – and thus offers the perfect environment for the drive solutions of the WITTENSTEIN group. In addition to cyber® iTAS® system 2, these include:
- safe bus communication, presented with various safety master controllers,
- frameless motors for use in compact, steerable AGV drive units,
- flexibly adaptable 24 VDC / 48 VDC motors for applications where standard motors cannot be used,
- high-power-density small servo drive systems for auxiliary axes.
